Orientation Program 2026

September 9, 2026

Two packed weeks of orientation have come to a close, and the closing ceremony was held.

As in previous days, freshmen spent much of their time on academic sessions. They also learned how to build their own schedules and took part in online course registration for the first time - a genuinely challenging process, but one they handled well.

Freshmen met with the heads of their faculties and with instructors and took part in Q&A sessions. Whenever questions or difficulties came up, volunteers and advisors were on hand to help.

The program also included a series of office presentations. Liliya Muslimova, head of the Administrative and Facilities Office, spoke about campus rules, safety procedures, and emergency response. Students also learned about the work of the AUCA Center for Civic Engagement, the Career Development Office, and the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology.

A significant part of the freshmen's time went into preparing for Star Academy, where they had the chance to fully showcase their creativity and talents. The Star Academy final took place on Thursday.

Welcome to the family, freshmen!
