AUCA will be co-organizing and co-sponsoring the 15th anniversary AMICAL conference, on May 4th-7th, 2018.  It is a big honor for AUCA.
Founded in 2004, AMICAL brings together 27 institutions of higher education located in 21 countries across Eastern, Central and Western Europe, West and North Africa, the Middle East, Central and Southern Asia, and Russia. 

Tian-Shan Policy Center (TSPC) at AUCA, Center for Environment and Development (СЕD) of Division of Economics and Environmental Studies at AUCA in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH are organizing a guest lecture with Prof. Robert Costanza.

The world-famous scientist Robert Costanza will deliver a lecture at AUCA on "Creating the Future we want". The American environmental economist will share the latest trends in the global environmental economics, as well as the images of the future that humanity is creating now.
The scientist will talk about his vision of what public institutions, politicians and civil society need to do all over the world to achieve the future that we want for ourselves and for our children.

During the winter break, two students of International and Comparative Department - Makmal Abylova, Gulkaiir Taiirbekova and Zhannat Abdyraimova from Business Administration department, implemented a project aimed at youth empowerment.

AUCA student delegation who implemented their civic engagement projects to help people in their communities spent 7 days in Budapest. This is the story of how to get to the Get Engaged conference, what it is like to participate and what are its benefits are.

Last year AUCA started a cooperation with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva, Switzerland) in delivering the Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices (DPP) and became the Central Asian hub for this program.

Different excursions of AUCA students to the most beautiful places of Kyrgyzstan become the tradition. On Tuesday, 20 March 2018, department of EMSD and Applied Geology have organized a trip for AUCA students to the “Konorchek” canyon and “Karagacheva rosha” forest park.

The Central Asian Hackfest 2018 "Generation Z: Children's Welfare" was launched in Kyrgyzstan where IT developers from the countries in the region will work together to find digital solutions to promote and protect children's rights.
